Ingredients

For the Pie

  • 2 refrigerated puff pastry sheets, thawed and rolled out
  • 8 ounces mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 tsp minced garlic
  • 3 cups cooked chicken, shredded or diced
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese (medium or sharp)
  • 1 egg, whisked

For the Homemade Cream of Chicken

  • 6 tbsp butter
  • 3 tbsp flour
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup milk
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper

Instructions 

Preheat & Prep:

  • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
