For the Chicken:

- Salt & cracked black pepper, to taste
- 2 tbsp olive oil, divided

- 12-15 asparagus spears (woody ends trimmed)
- 1 tsp minced garlic
- ⅛ tsp red pepper flakes (optional, for a little heat)
- 8 slices fresh mozzarella or provolone cheese
For the Lemon Butter Sauce:
- 2-3 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 tsp minced garlic
Step 1: Preheat & Prep
