- 1 lb (450g) boneless, skinless chicken breast, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 2 tsp cornstarch (optional, for crispier texture)
- Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, finely minced
- ΒΌ cup honey
- 3 tbsp low-sodium chicken stock
- 1β2 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tsp hot sauce (optional, we recommend Sriracha)
- 1 tsp red chili flakes, for garnish
- 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley, for garnish
Prepare the Chicken:In a bowl, toss the chicken cubes with cornstarch, salt, and pepper until evenly coated. Cook the Chicken:Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.Add butter and let it melt, then add the chicken cubes.Sear the chicken on all sides until golden brown, about 6β8 minutes. (If necessary, cook in batches to avoid overcrowding.)
